Terms and Conditions
General Information
By registering for the 14th IFAC Symposium on Dynamics and Control of Process Systems, including Biosystems (DYCOPS 2025) (hereinafter referred to as “the conference”), you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Registration Information
All registrations must be made through the conference registration web page. Participant is required to provide accurate and complete registration information. This includes the full name and affiliation in the section “Participant information”, identifiers of all the accepted (non-withdrawn) papers in section “Paper information”, and full names of all the accompanying persons in the section “Extras and Discounts”. Participant is also required to provide accurate billing information, such as full name and address of either person or the legal entity, and valid email address. If the registration fees are billed to legal entities such as companies and universities the registrant must provide a valid VAT identifier. The conference organizers reserve the right to cancel the registration if the provided information is incomplete or inaccurate.
Payment
The payments are processed in euro (EUR) currency. Payment can be made using a credit/debit card or direct bank transfer. Registration fees must be paid in full at the time of registration if credit/debit card is used, and the registrant agrees with immediate charge placed on the card at the moment of registration submission. The payments done via direct bank transfer must be payed in full amount and in currency stated in proforma invoice attached to registration confirmation email. The billed party must use the payment information provided in the proforma invoice, such as IBAN number, BIC/SWIFT code, and payment reference to avoid any errors in payment processing and verification. The proforma invoice due date is not explicitly stated, however the organizers reserve the right to cancel the registration and void the proforma invoice if the billed amount is not payed by the registrant within the 14 calendar days from proforma invoice issue date.
Early Bird Fees
In order to qualify for any “early bird” fees or discounts, registration for the conference must be done before the deadline date listed in the conference website.
Accommodation
Participants of the conference arrange their accommodation at venue at their own expense.
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing to the conference organizers. The following conditions apply to cancellations and refunds:
- If the cancellation and refund request is filed until April 30, 2025, the registration fees will be refunded in full.
- Cancellation and refund requests filed after April 30, 2025, will be honored, but they are subject to a €205 charge (€70 administrative fee and €135 of organization expense).
Changes to the Conference Program
The conference organizers reserve the right to make changes to the conference program, including speakers, times, and dates, without prior notice.
Photography and Video
By attending the conference, you consent to be photographed, filmed, or recorded by the conference organizers. By accepting these terms and conditions you give a consent for the conference organizers to use such materials for promotional purposes.
Liability
The conference organizers are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or expense that may arise from your attendance at the conference, regardless of the cause.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the conference program, proceeding, and other materials, are owned by the conference organizers or their respective owners. You may not reproduce or distribute any conference materials without the prior written consent of the conference organizers or the relevant owner. All publication materials submitted to the conference are subject to the IFAC copyright conditions (www.ifac-control.org/publications/copyright-conditions).
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic where the conference is held. Any dispute arising under these terms and conditions shall be resolved by the courts of Slovak jurisdiction.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By registering for the conference, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions, and that you agree to be bound by them.
